In honor of Memorial Day, we've mapped 21 memorials to those who served in military engagements going back to the Revolution. Some of these monuments are world famous (Memorial Hall in Cambridge, the U.S.S. Constitution in Charlestown); others you may be little aware of (the Beirut memorial in Christopher Columbus Park or the Spanish-American War murals in the State House). Most can be visited on foot within a few hours.
