Rent Check

The city has its own measure of what it costs to rent in Boston. And BostInnovation has its own. And, now, so does research site RentJuice. Predictably, the alchemy's rather grim if you're an apartment hunter: "The limited supply of (and apparent demand for) studios and rental units with three or more bedrooms could lead to falling prices for one and two-bedrooms in Boston. But who are we kidding? It’s probably going to lead to an uptick in the cost of renting a studio or three-bedroom-plus property." Note: City and RentJuice reports are PDFs. [BostInnovation]
