Dewey Square
Address: 210 South Street, #82
Price: $625,000
Square Feet: 1,343
This 1-BR, 2-BA condo commanded a higher-than-average price for the area. Similar condos in Downtown Crossing usually go for just north of $600,000, according to Trulia. This one's got solid bones—the building dates from 1920, and there's plenty of natural light, thanks to high ceiling criss-crossed with really cool exposed piping. Added bonus: barely three blocks to Occupy Boston.

Union Square
Address: 205 Washington Street, #1
Price: $389,000
Square Feet: 934
Not too many bells and whistles at first look in this Somerville number. But wait! The 2-BR, 2-BA condo has, in fact, the following within its 111-year-old walls: "Free standing chefs kitchen w/stainless appliances and granite countertops. Master bedroom with walk in closet and en-suite bath with 7'x4' dble shower, 2 sinks and stone floor. Full bath w/6' Whirlpool spa and Tau Corten surround. Central Air. Custom, hand milled moldings"—plus storage and two parking spaces. It sold for right about average, according to Trulia.

Winthrop Square
Address: 108 Lincoln Street, #6B
Price: $703,831
Square Feet: 1,485
This 1-BR, 2-BA condo in a 112-year-old Downtown Crossing building sold for a healthy amount: the average sales price for similar homes is $690,250, according to Trulia.

Kendall Square
Address: 170 Gore Street
Price: $529,900
Square Feet: 1,380
This 2-BR, 2-BA penthouse condo in the Pavillion in East Cambridge last traded in 1997 for $225,000. It was loaded for bear this latest go-around, per the listing: "Fantastic city views from inside and a private roof deck. Open floor plan with hard to find natural light on all four sides. New wood flooring, Freshly painted, Ceramic tiled baths, Windows & Roof all recent. Central Air, Private laundry, Deeded garage parking, Elevator, Gym & Pool." And! "Walkscore rates this location as a 'Walkers Paradise'..." Not surprisingly, it commanded a solidly above-average price, according to Trulia.
