As the whippersnappers at Occupy Boston settle in for the brutal New England winter, they have turned to the experts on keeping warm on the streets: "The homeless have given the anti-corporate protest’s volunteer organizers helpful tips such as stuffing their clothes with 'hay and straw,' said Kristopher Eric Martin, who works in Occupy Boston’s logistics and supplies tent." The advice comes as the city says it will not prevent the demonstrators from wintering on Dewey Square in Downtown Crossing so long as they behave themselves. [Herald]
