The 2011 Red Sox were the worst thing to happen to Boston since the British occupation during the Revolution: beer, blown leads, beer, stranded men on base, beer, the Rays and the Yankees, beer. So today's news that Fenway Park, one of the country's oldest pro sports stadiums, may, in fact, land on the National Register of Historic Places (and thereby nab $40 million in tax credits) is undoubtedly good for the franchise. Cheers to you, Sox Nation! Have a brewsk - oops. [Herald]
