Attention, residents and visitors along the Downtown Crossing waterfront: do not be alarmed by any cacophonous buzzing: "[I]t’s the sound of about 240,000 bees. Yes, you read that correctly—bees." Several waterfront hotels, starting with the InterContinental Boston in June 2010, have been keeping their own apiaries.
