Hub home values appear to have hit the skids along with home sales, though at a slightly quieter screech. "[T]he S&P/Case-Shiller Home Price Indices reported that Boston-area home values dropped 0.1 percent in August compared with July, a 1.7 percent decrease from the same month last year. Boston-area home values have declined about 15 percent since their peak in September 2005, about half as much as values nationally, Case-Shiller said." [Globe]
