Seemingly intrigued by Whole Foods' plans to open next week in an old Jamaica Plain storefront, Walmart says it's mulling the same thing (though the world's biggest retailer may still not be welcome in Boston): "Whole Foods plans to open a 13,700-square-foot store at the former Hi-Lo Market in Hyde Square next Tuesday, a strategy that Walmart is considering as it searches for its first Boston location."
