Charlestown's 40 Warren; Dorchester's Top Gay Bar; Turkey Day

DORCHESTER— The only gay bar in Boston to make Out magazine's top 60 nationwide is dbar on Dorchester Avenue: "This gay friendly restaurant bar serves eclectic, to-die-for food, but the mellow and welcoming ambiance set by color-changing lights, music, and nouveau decor makes for an all around great evening. The only peeve is the lack of a maitre d'—you’ll have to seat yourself—and the oh-so-few male waiters.??" [Out via the Hub]

CHARLESTOWN—More details on the conversion of 40 Warren Street: "[T]he $10 million project for 40 Warren St. ... will create 14 apartments and convert 3,000 square feet of garage space into retail space on the ground floor. The building will keep 14 parking spaces. ... Tenants of the refaced building will have access to roof decks and two of the units will qualify as affordable housing." [Boston.com]

HUB-WIDE—Our pisan site Eater Boston has mapped restaurants with Thanksgiving fare, should the mood strike you tomorrow. But! "Space is filling up fast and so a phone call and reservation are highly recommended..." [Eater Boston]

A housekeeping note: Curbed Boston will be gorging on tryptophan and hops all weekend due to the holiday, starting now. See you bright and surly Monday morning, and Happy Thanksgiving!
