A few of you so far have critiqued our take on Goldman Sachs' 319 A Street project in South Boston's Fort Point Channel, which was approved a week before Thanksgiving by the Boston Redevelopment Authority. Says one biz owner and resident: "To continually pretend that there is no one here, and that the neighborhood needs a complete re-invention is false advertising and a wish to put a new lacquer on the BRA's plans for this 'abandoned' neighborhood. Portraying the neighborhood as in knee-jerk opposition to development has long been the strategy of the BRA—but nothing is farther from the truth—all we have asked for is responsible development with community involvement and consideration. That's the truth. Run with it." [Curbed Boston]
