The developer of a proposed Logan Square development in Hyde Park that would have created 24 apartments, plus retail, has nixed it: "The decision comes after almost a year of community meetings and public comment in which many residents raised concerns about the number of affordable units in the plan, the amount of parking provided, the lack of open space for children to play, increased traffic in the sometimes-congested commercial district, and other issues."
