The Curbed Boston Cup, our (first) annual award to the Hub neighborhood of the year, is kicking off with 16 'hoods vying for the prestigious fake trophy. This week we'll have two match-ups per day, and all the results and the full tourney bracket will be reviewed on Friday. Voting for each pairing ends in the wee hours the next morning. And, now, more eliminations!
Jamaica Plain has a not inconsequential amount of condo development under way right now. The neighborhood also as of October has a Whole Foods (and maybe soon a Walmart).
Neighbors Fenway and Kenmore will soon have up to 360 new apartments, thanks to two new developments: the 150-unit Fenway Triangle, which also includes a commercial component; and the 210 1282 Boylston Street, which does as well. The neighborhoods also have some of the quietest big-time listings in Boston, like this townhouse asking $12.5 million.
