East Boston's Cinderella run in the Curbed Boston Cup ended in a flurry of late-night voting Thursday as Cambridge bested the It Neighborhood and claimed a spot among the Final Four. Along with Cambridge are the South End, the North End and heavily favored Beacon Hill, which has been trouncing competitors since voting commenced. Tune in next week as we whittle our way to the top Hub neighborhood of the year. It ain't over 'til it's over (or until somebody brings too much beer into the clubhouse—that reminds us: also Tuesday, we'll start running down the top stories of 2011, real estate-wise).
