Lording It Over

Our paisan site Curbed National has the news that the buyer of the Martha's Vineyard estate where the Obamas vacation was bought by none other than British architect (throat-clear) Lord Norman Foster: "Foster paid $21.9M, making it one of the highest-priced single family houses in Vineyard history." And he evidently does not want to rent out it out during the summers; not to the First Family, not to anyone. (Bonus trivia: Foster designed the revamped Museum of Fine Arts.) [Curbed National]
