We asked you yesterday if rent control should return to the Hub—it was voted out in 1994—and you are telling us by a 2 to 1 margin so far that it should not. From one reader: "Massachusetts has high housing costs for one reason: it is already virtually impossible to build anything. Adding rent control would just be another way to discourage developers from trying to build the housing we need to bring prices down. Robert Reich, the former Clinton labor secretary is one of the most outspoken critics of rent control. He is also a VERY liberal guy, so this is not a conservative Republican viewpoint."
