Well, there you have it: With 63.4 percent of the vote, No. 4 South End smoked No. 10 Cambridge in the final round of the Curbed Boston Cup to emerge as the Hub's best neighborhood of 2011. Perhaps the victory is not all that surprising (though we had our money on Beacon Hill or Back Bay) given all the luxury sales in the South End last year. And maybe those sales are why Dunkin Donuts never stood a chance. And why valet parkers might not, either.
