The Skinny: What's $620K between friends? That's the difference between the two top vote-getters. The correct amount ($2,379,000) garnered 38.9 percent of the vote; and $2,999,000 grabbed 36.1 percent. One reader emailed to say that either price was too high and that we were looking at the wrong measure: "Even if it's A or B ($2.3M or $2.5M) it's definitely over priced being that it's well over $1100 per square foot. Properties on more affluent streets like Arlington Street (close to the Common) close between $900 and $1000 per square foot. This property should sell just below $2M around $900 per square foot." Well, for now, the 2-BR, 2.5-BA duplex on Dartmouth is asking what it's asking—and most of you missed it.
