Lincoln Comes to Southie; Updated Restaurant Heatmap

SOUTH BOSTON—It's not every day that Southie gets a big, handsome new wood-fired pizza and cocktail fix serving nightly until 1am. But this week it did, with the opening of Lincoln Tavern and Restaurant on West Broadway.

SOUTH END—The now vacant, former Columbus Cafe on Columbus Ave is slated for a new life. Per a neighborhood notice, the owner of Five Horses Tavern in Davis Square is moving into the old space with a new restaurant.

DOWNTOWN—BU student racks up a $2,800 dollar tab at a single event at the Leather District club Splash. Dad calls the cops. Police shut down Splash for overcrowding and underage drinking. Splash reopens. Fin.
