What's a Big Terrace Worth? See Dueling Clarendon PH Listings

New, 2 comments

Right before Thanksgiving, we brought you the gobsmacking (yup, we're going to overuse it) news of Boston's priciest new apartment listing: a penthouse at The Clarendon asking $7,100,000. Well, it appears the penthouse's neighbor has been listed as well (the same day, in fact, if Zillow is to be believed) for $6,500,000. This particular penthouse, PH2, is the same size as PH1: 3,545 square feet. Except! PH1 promises: "Stunning panoramic views of Boston from within Unit and Private Terrace!" And PH2 promises: "Stunning panoramic views of Boston!" Get it? The private terrace off PH1 apparently adds $600,000 to the overall price tag. PH2 does have one more bathroom, though. Oh, luxury Boston.
