The Saga of 15 Clifton and Its 'Translucent Polycarbonate Light'

And its "Zen-influenced interior" and "bamboo lndscping." The celebration of minimalism at 15 Clifton Street, near the Alewife T stop, has been on and off the sales market since October 2007, when it was listed for $569,999 just three months after trading for $625,000. The listing for the 3-BR, 2.5-BA was then removed a whopping seven times, only to reappear, often with a different price. The price, in fact, has changed 10 times, peaking in late 2007, during the real estate boom, at $600,000, and dropping as low as $475,000 in the summer of 2009, after the real estate bust. It went off the market most recently in October 2011 for $499,000. As of Monday, it's back on the market for $499,900, tipping the price per square foot for the 1,500-square-foot spread up $1 to $333. Whew! O.K. Stay tuned.
