Boston's Second-Priciest New Listing: $5.7M for Revamped TH

Even at $5,699,000, the 4-BR, 4-BA townhouse at 293 Marlborough Street isn't the priciest new listing in Boston: That honor is reserved for a 5-BR spread at the under-construction Chanel No. 6 on Newbury Street asking a whopping $7,695,000. Still, the 4,760-square-foot 293 Marlborough is nothing to sneeze at, of course: It's been recently renovated; has a wet bar and a garden as well as two parking spaces; an elevator to all five levels; a roof deck to swoon for; an eat-in kitchen; and bones stretching back to the 1890s. It last traded as recently as March 2010 for $4,700,000, after a sizable $599,000 price-chop. It's was listed that time through Tracy Campion, who's listing it this time, too, and who has had quite the busy few weeks.
