Boston's 3rd-Priciest Listing Quietly Passes 1 Year on Market

New, 2 comments

Did you get it anything? The one-year anniversary gift is paper, so perhaps a sales contract is what this regal puppy wants and needs. As we noted in December, 56 Beacon Street is a 5-BR, 8-BA Beacon Hill townhouse with 8,682 square feet, an attached garage, an open kitchen, a mud room (!), a full-floor master suite, a 14-person dining room, and an au pair suite. Of the five priciest Boston homes currently on the market, it's been out there the longest (it's tied in price with 3 Louisburg Square, which has been on the market for under 100 days). It last sold in January of 2004 for $8,550,000; yours now for $12,500,000.
