We don't envy acting MBTA GM Jonathan Davis. He spent part of Friday riding the Hull ferry, listening to commuter complaints about possible cuts as the T tries to shore up its finances: "On an average weekday, nearly 3,500 people take South Shore ferries, according to the MBTA. The vast majority travel from Hingham, with fewer taking the Hull and Quincy routes. Almost 1,000 take the ferry from Charlestown to Boston." [Globe]
