Impossibly Quaint Brookline Farmhouse Chops Price Again

New, 2 comments

One of Brookline's less expensive single-family's just got less expensive. The fixed-up farmhouse at 677 Hammond Street that traded for $402,500 in May 2010 returned to the market post-renovation originally at $739,000. Its price was then chopped to $699,000; and, just now, to $659,000. What's that get you? Three bedrooms, one and a half bathrooms, 1,470 detached square feet, and quaintness as if it were a drug (because it is). Tidy porches, cozy kitchen, even a dang white-picket fence! Scroll through the gallery above to see the house in its black-and-white glory days.
