A reader has a bone to pick: "I couldn't disagree more with the idea that lots of dogs in a neighborhood means high a home-owner to -renter ratio and is a favorable sign. As a resident (and homeowner) in the North End, I see plenty of people walking dogs but there are also lots of renters in this neighborhood. At least once a week, someone leaves their dog's mess in the middle of the sidewalk right in front of my home." [Curbed Boston]
