When last we checked in with the townhouses of Lime Street, it was late February, and the 5-BR, 5.5-BA at 36 Lime, the interiors of which were designed by the late, great David Nightingale Hicks, was on the market for the first time since the early days of the White administration. It's still on the market for the same price, $6,995,000, and still gorgeous. Though it may now have a run for its monies: The 3-BR, 3.5-BA townhouse at 21 Lime hit the market yesterday for $2,475,000. It's considerably smaller, 2,675 square feet vs. 5,000, but smartly elegant, even offering a study and a library in the listing as well as some memorable wallpaper (we can't quite tell if that's some sort of sea motif or birds). It last traded right before Tom Menino became mayor (get in your way-back machine) for $925,000.
