Cue the Pool Table as Proof of Space: $4.75M on Beacon

The duplex penthouse at 53 Beacon Street just hit the market for $4,750,000, one of Boston's priciest new listings of June so far. It appears via the floorplan as a narrow number, nevertheless packing in three bedrooms, four bathrooms, and a lot of baroque and modernist detail into its 4,650 square feet. The surest proof of its durability size-wise might come with the pool table that apparently fit for the last owner's recreation (though we're reminded of that Seinfeld episode where George's dad puts a pool table in George's childhood room). There's also direct elevator access and walk-out roof deck, which is going to come in handy in the next few days.
