Bear Market! Winnie the Pooh Loses Cambridge Home

Winnie the Pooh lost his Cambridge home over the weekend. The tree next to Harvard's Science Center, where the beloved bear lived for several years, even surviving a spate of vandalism in October 2011, was chopped almost entirely down due to its ill health, according to the university. All vestiges of Pooh's residency in the tree were gone as of Sunday afternoon, including the "Pooh" sign and the red front door. The octogenarian Pooh, who lives primarily in Sussex, England, is reportedly house-hunting for another spot in the People's Republic. Stay tuned.
