CAMBRIDGE—The People's Republic makes another list, this one of best cities for business and careers: "Schools like MIT and Harvard fuel the area’s high-tech employment, which at 17.7% is second highest in the U.S., after San Jose, Calif. Cambridge is one of only four metros where 50% of adults have a college degree." [Forbes]

HUB-WIDE—A new survey says that, despite a drop in the number of conventions, the region's hotels will be fuller: "... Greater Boston’s area occupancy rate is projected to increase by 0.7 percent in 2013. At the same time, citywide convention activity will drop from 2012 levels, the survey said." [Biz Journal]
