'Bounds of Storage,' Oh My! 42 Commonwealth Asks $2.75M

This 2,375-square-foot penthouse duplex at 42 Commonwealth Avenue last traded right before the Great Recession, when Patriots standout Wes Welker bought it for $1,800,000. It's back with a tag of $2,750,000 through Sotheby's Beth Dickerson, and it's apparently been renovated since, leaving the 3-BR, 2.5-BA with suitably elegant features like granite countertops in the kitchen and built-in shelves in the living room. But what really nails it for us, particularly on a Friday, is the top-floor sitting room with access to a private deck with wet bar and the views you see above. There are also, according to the listing, something called "bounds of storage" and one direct-access parking space.
