Walgreens and Booze; South Boston named Party City

Downtown Crossing — Walgreens is coming to town, and it wants to bring a 1,500 square foot section of high-end wines and spirits with it in its new 24,000 square feet flagship store. Opening in the former Borders location on School Street this fall, Walgreens officials will seek permission to sell alcohol and if approved, will be the second place to do so in Downtown. South/East Boston — Using Uber ridership data, the livery service company created the "perfect party city" using a neighborhood from each city it operates in. The results? South Boston is the most weekend-like compared to East Boston which is considered the lame all work/no play neighborhood. [The Atlantic Cities]
