Here's a Possible Boston Micro-Apartment Brought to Life

Ever wonder what one of those hundreds of micro-apartments slated for Boston might look like in real life? Up top is a photo, courtesy of Spencer T. Tucker and the New York City Mayor's Office, of Medford native Michael Bloomberg this week touring the winner of a design competition to come up with a livable 250- to 370-square-foot apartment. Mayor Bloomberg is looking at the kitchen area. He will then turn his attention to the rest of the apartment, which ends in a tiny bathroom (per the diagram above). There is also a storage unit running along some of the ceiling and a Juliette balcony for calling for help.
