New Chelsea Place Names Its Apartments After Presidents

And the Taft has the biggest rent, we kid you not. The 3-BR, 2-BA, 1,174-square-foot layout is asking between $2,155 and $2,465 a month. It's all part of the newly completed development near Revere Beach, a few miles outside of downtown Boston, as the developer construction manager, Tocci Building Companies, likes to make clear.

The 80,000-square-foot Chelsea Place has 56 apartments total, and was completed in under a year, thanks to modular construction. Its one-, two- and three- bedrooms range from just over 700 square feet to just over 1,100 square feet (Adams is the smallest apartment layout, by the way, though it's not entirely clear whether it's John or John Quincy). Rents start at $1,465 for a Roosevelt (again, not clear if it's Teddy or Franklin) and run to that girthquaking Taft amount. Seriously time to update our New-Development Heatmap.
