Everett Sweet Spot Readies for Its $4,000 2-BRs

New, 8 comments

Time was 23 Charlton Street near Broadway in Everett was part of a factory that churned out gooey, delicious treats called Charleston Chews. Then the factory closed in 1985, and everything shipped cross-river to Cambridge. Said factory remained a reminder of Everett's slide in the 1980s and 1990s, empty and hulking. Now! Twenty-three Charlton has morphed into the Batch Yard, a 328-unit, three-building luxury apartment complex with everything from dog-washing-and-walking services to outdoor movies to a rooftop pool and grill. It's a sign, then, of Everett's turnaround (heck, there's even two craft breweries nearby). Pretty sweet, eh?

Above are a couple of renderings of the rooftop. The studios, 1-BRs and 2-BRs underneath range from $1,700 to $4,000 a month, according to the Bozzuto Group, the complex's manager. The Batch Yard is set to open early next year. Time to update our Rental Development Heatmap!
