Well, that was fast (even for Boston condos these days). On Friday, we told you about Penthouse 1B at 45 Province, the big condo that could in downtown Boston. The 2,915-square-foot spread, with sweeping exposures on three sides, was just about to officially hit the sales market after being quietly shopped for a few weeks.
The penthouse has apparently found a buyer, according to a source, going under agreement at the precise asking price of $5,227,500, or about $1,793 a square foot. We won't likely know what the closing price is for a while, though the small amount of time it spent on the open market—barely a weekend, if that—suggests Penthouse 1B was in demand, to say the least.
