Comment of the Day

"You want cyclists to follow the rules? Get cops to enforce them. It's, like, their job. I ride to work pretty much every day, through Cambridge traffic, in all kinds of weather. I wear a helmet, stop for lights, ride on the right side of the street. Statistically, the leading causes of bike accidents where the cyclist is at fault are red lights and riding in the wrong direction, by wide margins. And don't get me started on drivers and their [expletive deleted] cell phones. 'Drunk or chatting?' is a guessing game I play every day." —a reader on drivers vs. bicyclists
