Curbed Boston Awards '13: Craziest Listing

New, 1 comment

This puppy was actually pretty tough; there were so many contenders in 2013. We finally settled on the 7.54-acre Weston estate listed by Red Sox stakeholder Jeff Vinik in October for the entirely reasonable tag of $17,000,000.

The estate includes seven bedrooms and 11 bathroom (six full) in 19,306 square feet of far-out living space. There's also: the pool and pool house; the in-home half-basketball court; the 16-seat media room; the interactive space-ship arcade; the billiards and ping-pong room; the wine cellar; the two guest suites; and, as we noted, some serious, serious whimsy within the decor: Check out the columns and the staircase railings and the Scrabble on the bathroom wall. It's still on the market for that original tag, so you've got time. Take the holiday and call your broker.
