There's a certain assumption in Boston real estate that the city's mega-rentals—those going for, say, $15,000 and up—are of mammoth proportions: several bedrooms; terraces the size of apartments; the odd private rooftop pool.
This unit at the Residences at W Boston, which quietly hit the rental market for $22,000 a month four days ago, is of more modest stock. It has one bedroom and one bathroom and does not appear to have any outdoor space. The unit does come with access to the W's amenities (and cats and dogs are welcome, so there's that).
