Boston's Hottest Chef; Ming Tsai Opens Blue Dragon

SOMERVILLE—Sure Boston has tons of doughnuts, but most of them are the kind that American purportedly runs on. Now, there's a brand new independent doughnut shop open in Union Square. See here for photos from opening day at Union Square Donuts.

FORT POINT—Despite multiple television appearances and a well respected restaurant in Wellesley (Blue Ginger), chef Ming Tsai has never had a restaurant presence in Boston. Until now! Presenting Blue Dragon, Tsai's new Fort Point Asian gastropub.

FINANCIAL DISTRICT—It appears as though chef Michael Schlow will not be renewing the lease at his best known restaurant, Radius. While it is not yet clear what this means for the future of Radius, it will certainly mean big changes for one of Boston's most prominent dining establishments.
