We've taken rhetorical refuge in the Church Court condos of western Back Bay before.

They're an interesting lot, their genesis (if you permit) in the old Mount Vernon Church, which opened in 1891 and closed in 1978. A fire then tore through the property, with subsequent salvation coming in the form of a Graham Gund-led redesign into condos. This particular 2-BR, 2.5-BA sanctuary retails for $900,000 even.
