DOWNTOWN CROSSING—Above is a photo of Millennium Place under construction. The 15-story luxury condo is now 51 percent sold, according to developer Millennium Partners, with 130 condos trading since the opening of the sales office in mid-October (move-ins should start this fall). Its units range in price from from $750,000 to $3.5 million.

EAST BOSTON—Developers want to turn a run-down building at 266 Border Street into a boutique hotel called Boston Loftel: "The hotel would have 15 rooms on a typical floor, with seven standard guest rooms and eight suites containing small kitchenettes ... The hotel would also include such amenities as a gymnasium and a business center." [Boston.com]

MASS.-WIDE—The number of foreclosures continues to fall statewide, though they may be up from 2011: "The number of Bay State foreclosure petitions, the first step in the foreclosure process, dropped by 29.4 percent to 940 in January, down from 1,333 in January 2012. Petitions have fallen for three consecutive months." [Biz Journal]
