Big changes afoot for the modern half of the Boston Public Library at Copley: "Although the project is still in its early stages, architect William Rawn said his firm is exploring ways to 'open up' the building to Boylston Street and possibly Exeter Street as well by removing the exterior plinths that give the building 'a greyness, a bleakness.'"
