Bigger apartments are harder to come by in the Leather District than most elsewhere in Boston.
You would think, then, that this 4-BR, 4-BA at 111 Beach Street, with its 14-foot ceilings and what the Otis & Ahearn listing calls "one of the largest living/dining rooms in the city of Boston," would have people punching the numbers furiously in the elevator that goes directly to it. Yet, the 4,189-square-foot duplex cut its price this week by $359,000 down to $2,090,000. It's been on the market for just over 100 days now; and was once listed for sale in 2011 for $1,150,000 (that listing was removed, and the new one appeared in January). Stay tuned.
