CAMBRIDGE/FINANCIAL DISTRICT—Feast your eyes upon two restaurants so new they aren't even open yet. First up is The Palm, reopening next week after disappearing for some time. Then there's Hit Wicket, which looks to be the first cricket-themed bar in the U.S..

BACK BAY—Good news from Forum, the only restaurant that remains closed after the Boston Marathon bombing. Forum plans to reopen this summer with a new chef, and first there will be a series of preview dinners with benefits going to The One Fund.

DOWNTOWN/BROOKLINEWoodward, a restaurant and bar at the Ames Hotel, is now closed. Ditto with Tamarind Bay in Brookline, which will be replaced by a new project from the Strip-T's crew.
