The Boston real estate market certainly moves rather fast these days.
This 4-BR, 3.5-BA townhouse hit the sales market on May 17. That would be roughly 10 days ago. Someone has already agreed to buy it. He, she, they or it will get a 3,899-square-foot Victorian with an eat-in kitchen; a second-floor dining room connected to said kitchen via dumbwaiter; an au pair suite; and a hot tub in the backyard. The last listing price, through Sprogis & Neal Real Estate, was $2,695,000, though it's not clear, obviously, whether 159 West Canton closed for that (seems likely, yes, but we don't know yet). The four-floor spread last traded way back in November 1994 for $150,000. Yup.
