Yeah, daddio. It's a whole other Appleton Street this go-round.
On Monday, we closed the book on the oft-price-chopped 46 Appleton Street in the South End, which finally traded for $3,300,000. Now can close the book (and we're late doing it as this deal was sealed just before May) on 32 Appleton Street in Somerville. According to the listing from Patti Brainard and Peter Cote, the 3-BR, 2.5-BA single-family is "steps to happening Davis Square." The capacious place is pretty happening itself, with a full basement, a big deck off the second floor, and plenty of airy, open space. It was listed in mid-March for $1,000,000 and went into contract almost immediately, trading for $1,030,000. Such is the Hub's housing market now.
