9 Exeter Street Says So Long to $7M Club

Well, would you look at that? We told you last Tuesday about the gorgeous four-story townhouse at 9 Exeter Street that last traded in June 2001 for $2,250,000 and how it was back on the market through superbroker Beth Dickerson for $7,750,000.

As of Monday afternoon, the 30-foot-wide palace, with five bedrooms and five bathrooms and bones in the 1860s, was $800,000 cheaper, settling after barely a week on the market at $6,950,000. While this price-chop, indeed, takes 9 Exeter out of the top 12 listings in Boston (all of which hail for north of $7M), it still leaves it with that wine cellar. Check it out.
