$400K in Medford: Family Ties, $14K Over-Asking

This 3-BR, 2-BA single-family off Riverside Avenue in Medford had been in the same family for 50 years. It looks it.

In a deal that closed June 13, the 1,700-square-foot house dating from 1900 traded for $393,000. That's well over the price it debuted at in April: $379,000. Such is the way of the Greater Boston housing market now. It's not clear if it's in the same family still, but we doubt the sellers made relatives pay such a premium (or maybe they did).
