Cronuts and Bronuts; Radius and Avila Closing; More!

It's time for a scrumptious helping of the latest foodie news with Eater Boston.

BACK BAY—Peek inside sweetgreen, the environmentally-minded D.C. salad chain that just opened up its first Boston location near Copley. Also on the menu? Froyo, of course.
__
ASSEMBLY SQUARE—Somerville's Burger Dive is getting its liquor license (spiked milkshakes!), but not without some serious snark from a couple of the commissioners, one of whom thinks that offering alcohol at the casual joint wouldn't be appropriate due to the mothers, children, and elderly clientele.
__
HUB-WIDE—While the cronut craze hasn't touched Boston too much, cro-nots and dossants can be found in a couple spots, as can bronuts, burger-doughnut hybrids.
__
DOWNTOWN—Michael Schlow's upscale (yet famous for a burger) Financial District restaurant, Radius, will close tomorrow after a 15-year run. Also closing tomorrow? Avila, a Mediterranean restaurant in the Theater District from the owner of Davio's.
