Our survey of the real apartment rents of Cambridge continues unbowed. The latest insight comes via a landlord, who emailed in the following:

I just rented a 1BR 1Bath, 650 sq ft totally renovated unit but no parking and no outdoor space for $2000/month. 10 minute walk to harvard square near Savenor's and the wine & cheese cask, etc. The $2,000 a month for 650 square feet did not deter prospective tenants:

I thought this rent was kind of high, but I had a million people interested and clearly could have asked for more.
